ACU Congress and AFSCME Law Enforcement Conference

The 8th AFSCME ACU Congress will be held on September 5-7, 2007 in Washington, D.C. At the same time, AFSCME will hold a conference for sworn law enforcement officers. Each conference will have its own workshops and plenary sessions but corrections and law enforcement members will join together to lobby Congress. Among the issues we will lobby on is requiring all 50 states to provide collective bargaining rights for all police, firefighters, correctional officers and EMTs.
